Getting ready to go!
We are all very excited, we are in the final stages of the countdown. Only 2 more days until we leave for our vacation in NY. We will first be visiting my cousin Jimmy and his family from Sunday through Wednesday. Then on Wednesday we'll go stay at my parents' house for the next 3 weeks. I am looking forward to relaxing by the pool and hanging out with my sister and her boys. In the midst of all the excitement I will be accompanying my sister and her brood back to Ireland for a week! I'm so pysched to finally be going overseas - yippee! Karen's newest baby is due in September so I'll be helping her on the way back with her three little ones. The flight should be interesting to say the least :-) Kids are psyched, I'm psyched although Keith will be a little sad that we'll be gone so long. I'm so lucky he is so understanding and lets me go spend time with my family each summer.

Going, going, GONE
We are so proud of Bryce. Last night at his last baseball game of the season he played so well. He got on base every single time he went to bat. {Insert drum roll please} When the Dodgers were trailing by 3, Bryce went up to bat and hit a HOME RUN! As he rounded the bases, all of the parents were up at the fence screaming with joy and cheering him on. In true Bryce fashion, he slid into Home Plate with a grin from ear-to-ear. At the end of the game he was given the game ball for being the MVP that night. We are so proud of him and he is still basking in the glow of his success. He was on the fence as to whether or not he wanted to play fall ball but I think this knocked him right off. Fall ball it is, and he'll continue to work with his hitting coach who was fortunate enough to witness this awesome event. I'm sure this is a day Bryce will never forget!
